Transparent solar protection
The Solar control glass is ideal for projects that require a maximization of natural light (facades, roofs or windows), having the primary role of solar protection – optimizes the report between the light transmitted and the solar factor with high thermal performance but, at the same time, reflecting the optimal amount of solar heat – combined the advantages of a Super LowE glass with the ones of reflective glass: during the summer it provides a high solar protection, reducing the greenhouse effect inside the building while, during the winter it maintains its thermal insulation qualities.
Solar control glass may improve the energy performance of a building by reducing the need of air conditioning during the hot months. The interior space remains cool and at the same time lighted. This type of glass allows solar light to pass through the window or façade and at the same time it reduces it significantly.
